A NASA funded study done by Dr.Bryan Raudenbush and another study by Alan Hirsch, M.D. found that breathing peppermint oil has an amazing effect on helping people to stop smoking, curb hunger, relieve stress and calm anxiety as well as help with headaches and stomach aches. It also improves the brain's function, helps with lung function, keeps you alert when driving and the list goes on.
A site called www.Femlogic.com sells a powerful pocket aromatherapy pipe called an Essential Breathing pipe that helps you get your dose of peppermint vapor in a fun and easy way. Smokers in our office used the pipe to stop smoking successfully and the rest of us use our pipes all the time too for things like stress relief and appetite control. The people who quit smoking liked the help it gave in not over eating too. They used the pipe instead of a cigarette and got the same tactile and oral repetitive pleasure, also got the flavor and the benefits of the peppermint aromatherapy. We use it whenever we want, you don't ingest the oil, just breathe the air - get the vapor off of it. It freshens your breath too!

Hi Don, thank you for reporting your results with Chantix. I take it your read our last post on <a href="http://www.ciggyfree.com/cigblog/2009/09/09/chantix-lawsuits/" rel="nofollow">Chantix side effects and lawsuits</a>. Sorry this drug did not work out for you. Yes, do try a homeopathic stop smoking aid. One we have heard good things about is <a href="http://www.ciggyfree.com/cigblog/2009/07/29/homeopathic-quit-smoking/" rel="nofollow">Smoke Deter</a>. If you do try it, please let us know how it works out for you and how else we might support you. We also did reviews on some other stop smoking programs which have some impressive statistics. I am sure when you get past the initial stage you WILL be able to become an ex-smoker! For good.

I used Chantix as prescribed by my doctor. I followed the dosage to the 'T' and found that I was not able to stop smoking. In fact, although I reduced my number of cigarettes per day, I still did not stop. I have to quit as I am in the beginning stages of Emphysema. I am now looking for a homeopathic formula to help me.
